Hey guys! I'm new to the forum. I'm considering adding elves to my w580i. I have already debranded it to use flash themes and menus. I'm fairly familiar with using xs++. I'm not sure how to add elves and patches--i've heard that I may have to flash the phone again. If i want to add elves to my phone, do I have to start from scratch as if i'm re-debranding my phone again. Any help is greatly appreciated! P.s phone is a Db2020 and CID52. RBE001. I've read tutorials on adding patches and elves, but i need more detailed instruction--just worried i may screw up my phone if i dont know 100% what im doing. thanks!

Ok I read the tutorial, thanks for the fast reply! So, if i'm right, I need to create a quick access patch by dropping my .mbn file on qamaker.exe and then patch my phone with the .vkp file that results and then apply the elfpack and lib. patches. is the lib the actual elf program? and the elfpack just enables elves? it would be great if there was a video tutorial to enable elves.. thanks for any help!

Thanks for the help! I've successfully patched my phone and added elves to the phone! yay! One more question, this may be a little off topic...but with the Logo changer elf, I can change the first line to whatever i want, but i cant seem to add the 2nd line of text or add the batt temperature like it's supposed to do. I've messed with .ini file but still not sure how to edit it to add those features. anyone have any ideas?

I suggest you try the latest StandbyMode elf, it has the same functions with lots of extras

I've tried adding standbymode to my phone, with it's bcfg file in the config (and i think i tried it in the ini folder too) and it says win2unicode not found. i have a screenshot attached to this message.
