I don't know why, but when I try and open a2uploader, it always says the file directory doen't exist! I try downloading again and yet it still doesn't work, which really irritates me a lot!

Is there any way I can get into the file system of my W760 without using A2uploader?

im not entirely sure but maybe "Phone Explorer" might help

Do you use antivirus software? If so, deactivate it or add A2Uploader to the exceptions list.

I'll try phone explorer, and i have an antivirus software but a2uploader was working fine, even when the antivirus was active. So it can't be that I suppose. Thanks anyway

I want to apply changes onto my phone within the FS. That is the FS outside the phone. Get me now?

Sure does like the AV deleted the program before it was opened, hence why Windows can't find it back.

I don't get it though, it just can't be the AV (not that i'm doubting you). If it was the AV then why didn't it remove a2uploader when I downloaded it? I used it for like 3 days and now its just been wiped out!

Tried downloading it from many different sources, still didn't work. Tried different users, didn't work. So looks like I have to use it on my brother's laptop, which I hardly get to go on

The error message means the antivirus has moved it.
(i'm always installing windows, i get it everytime)
-corman- is right have a look in your quaranteen file, in your AV.
Maybe your AV didnt pick it up straight away.


If your on about uploading files to your firmware, then flashing it back.
Thats a no, (as far as i'm aware)
You can take files from A2uploader, modify them, then drag and drop them back.

It may still be there actually, its just that the resident shield of the antivirus has blocked it, causing windows to think that the file is missing

Adding that program to the exceptions list should solve it, but read about the exceptions list first: it may stop scanning of that file/directory in the scan system, but may not stop the resident shield from blocking it (avast does this to setool2lite, hence how I know, but it doesnt detect anything in a2 uploader)

I usually have a dedicated partition for my phone stuff downloads havent bothered this time cos Im replacing the board of this pc soon, and CBA to uncompress everything from my CD-R that Ive dumped all the RARs to

i use avira antivir, and it rarely false detects so I never have a problem lol

I can't add it to the exception list. I download the file, and when i extract it, a2uploader.exe isn't even there! I open the RAR file and a2uploader is there. I try dragging it out, but it says corruption.

So i put the RAR file to the exception list. No difference was made there.

Oh I use Norton by the way.

maybe try downloading elsewhere, the rar file could actually be corrupted or incomplete download.
