Newer CID53 K800's can't be flashed to K810 now because of a newer LCD which seems to be incompatable with K810 FW.
In terms of patching, there is little difference. There is just as many for both. Normally people make/port them to both anyway.

it can be cross flash wheater is new or old...just simply flash with r8bf003 firmware with same cid,the new lcd must usr this this particular firmware.
in patching...no different.....they can straightly be ported.not like porting k800/k810 into k770.
this phone also have been in the market for a while.why dont you just get an a2 phone.
