hey guyz i have a li'll prob with my k850 LCD. The LCD trips out i thought its a software thing. But one day i was playing music and pressed "7" and the LCD blacked out but the music continued playing. After ~15 secs the fone went into standby mode with no power delivered to the keypad and the LCD. After that i pressed a button and the LCD powered up. So when i press 4 an 7 the LCD trips out and when there is power delivered to the LCD it powers up again. I dismanteld the fone, and lifted the LCD ribbon a bit and it didnt trip out. I pressed the ribbon against the plait thingy and the LCD tripped out. Since than the LCD does not lit up (actually it lit up but as i touched the ribbon it tripped out). But though the fone still works but no display. What do u guyz think?

Same thing happened to me, and azaboo2. It's the ribbon, the two wires that are used to light up the display. To make sure, look at the display under direct sunlight or other light source, when the display turns off after pressing the keyboard. I bought my display for about 20 euros.

I checked it in sun light, the LCD does not lit up. It all worked great before this, LCD would only trip out if i pressed 4 and 7 or whenever i pressed the area around 4 and 7 but then would lit up again if the fone went into standby mode. But now nothing happens. (actually it lit up yesterday so i thought its good now but as i tried to put the keypad on its place back it tripped out)
