I have removed the battery, removed the sim card, removed the memory card then replaced the battery (all while phone has been switched off.) Then I have opened the program, held down the 'c' button to the right of the joystick with my thumb and connected it to the USB cable and this is what I see on screen:

I can't seem to be able to install them either . I end up with a screen like this http://s53.photobuck...RIVERScreen.jpg (Despite connecting my phone when it tells me to.) I don't mean to sound naive, I know absoutely nothing about this sort of thing, but are you sure I don't need to install K750i flash drivers instead of W800i ones seeing as my phone is still a k750i at the moment?

if your phone is with k750i software yes,you have to install the k750i ones.

do you have your original sony ericsson file manager cd ?that that must come with the cable?i think that if you install the sony ericsson file manager it will install the drivers for your phone..i searched but there are not packed,you must install it manually.

or i think this will work too but i don't know for sure.

Yeah, I use the Sony Ericsson File Manager all the time to transfer files to and from my phone. I'll try reinstalling it tommorow or whenever I next get some free time and let you know if it makes any difference. Thanks a lot for all of your help so far.

But this is not the prob... i do everything right with w800.exe but when next step i use sues, when it says to insert phone blablalbla and press c... ( i only plug the phone as said) it must apear realese c and detect as w800i... but no... he goes to main page.... and if i remove batery and do it recognize as k750i and i must do the w800i process.....

as a test, you can NOT alter any settings in w800.exe, just quit and continue with SEUS without changing IMEI/CDA.

I did not alter any settings. But (as I wrote) I get the same error the others get too.

w800.exe works fine. it reads my phones data and suggests a imei and cda code. i leave the defaults and press Q and enter.

when I start seus it asks me to enter a product. Once i press w800 a screen comes up telling me to press c on my phone and then connect.

when i do that it takes a while (about as long as it takes to recognise the phone without using w800.exe) and then jumps straight back to the start menu of seus (it appears to recognise the phone right there and then apports).

the hack doesn't seem to work any longer. can you confirm that?

just flashed the phone using XS++ (just google) and firmware from here: sek750i.pl - works fine too
(only for CID36 Red I think)

no..it is posssible but you must flash your phone with xs++.before flashing don't forget to backup all your phone(contacts,files,...) because flashing with xs++ will erase all the datas on your phone!!

yep it doesnt seem to work anymore. i tried on my phone. it jumped directly to the starting screen. maybe something to do with the updated SEUS. The old one seemed to recognise it f9.
