My k850 was apparently alright until day before.

what happens is everything is working just fine except that when i press near the 4 or 7 button or the down key the screen goes black and the fone stops responding to any activity. I Have to restart it.

I Thought it was a software problem and flashed it with a2 uploader.

My second diagnosis was something being wrong with the display. But i switched the display with another k850 and it was ok!!!



Please can anyone help me and tell me what must possibly be wrong with it??????

hey i have the same prob with my k850, in the beginning i thought its a software thing. But one day i was playing music and pressed "7" and the LCD blacked out but the music continued playing. After ~15 secs the fone went into standby mode with no power delivered to the keypad and the LCD. After that i pressed a button and the LCD powered up. So when i press 4 an 7 the LCD trips out and when there is power delivered to the LCD it powers up again. I dismanteld the fone, and lifted the LCD ribbon a bit and it didnt trip out. I pressed the ribbon against the plait thingy and the LCD tripped out. Since than the LCD does not lit up (actually it lit up but as i touched the ribbon it tripped out). But though the fone still works but no display. What do u guyz think?
