I've been trying to flash my w580i CID53, but I've been having some problems with flashing the FS (jdflasher gives an error). Just to try something I flashed the phone with Asia FS instead of Europe 4 FS that I've been having problems with. The phone was flashed successfully, but when I turn it on I get the following error:
Configuration error. Please contact your network operator or service centre.

What should I do??

Your FS has to do with the languages in the phone - if you just need English, any FS will do.

To get rid of the error, you have to upload a custpack to tpa/preset/custom. If you wish to have the Europe_4 languages, I'd suggest you flash a Europe_4 FS.
Custpacks are FS specific: if you use a Europe_4 FS, you have to use a Europe_4 custpack, otherwise you will get the error you're having now.

Phew, that makes things a bit better :)
I tried to flash it with AMERICA_1 FS and CustPack, but I still get the same error. Suggestions?

Quite sure it is, but maybe I've messed it up here...
I'm using this CustPack: http://forums.se-nse...p;showfile=1264
and this FS: http://www.esnips.co...AMERICA_1_RED53
Shouldn't those match?

Idd, it's a bit odd. Try this one.

Edit: maybe this one is even better, it's from the same Esnips folder.

Tried both, but still the same. Could it have anything to do with the executor.b file I added from AnyCID?

Don't know, sorry. Continue trying various FS+custpack combinations :)

Hmm, this doesn't seem to be my lucky day... :)
And another thing I can't figure out: How can I "reset" my phone with jdflasher? Like the gdfs write function in xs++

GDFS actions are not possible using JDFlasher, and XS++ doesn't support CID53. Try another FS ;).

Tried that with no success. Anyone know of a working FS for EUROPE_4? I've got a custpack for that but I can't try it because I can't flash with the FS for EUROPE_4 that I got. Been trying other combinations without any luck...

I upload the CustPack into tpa/preset/custom/. The files don't appear to be stored in this folder though, but in the tpa/preset/custom/drm. Jdflasher does this automatically. Could it be something wrong with this?

This happens if you drag and drop in JDFlasher. Use the copy shortcut (I believe it's F5, not too sure though).

ooo, i always drag and drop files... here's what to do, before you upload the files, delete the drm folder then upload the files so it'll be in /tpa/preset/custom/ not /tpa/preset/custom/drm/

Worked like a charm! Thanks a lot!
Still not able to flash with EUROPE_4 FS, but that's details. I guess I'll be fine without T9 :)

You can copy the T9 files (.t9 files inside an extracted FS's language folder) to your language folder on the phone and get any language in any FS (apart from Arabic, Chinese and Hindi)

Can you PLEASE describe step by step how you do this.
I'm a n00b and have the same problem.
