Hello,

I just bought a SE G900 phone on ebay, the description said it was "like new" and after testing it out, everything works but the camera, when I start the camera it doesn't show any images, it just shows some blue lines. All the options for the camera appear to be available, but instead of showing the image you want to take a picture of, it shows blue lines. I know the problem is not the screen since everything else seems to work OK.

Has anyone seen this problem? I am guessing it might be an internal problem with the camera, which I think I may not be able to fix by myself. If anyone knows what I'm talking about, is there anything I can do? or should I just take it to a technician to see if it's fixable? I'm guessing I may end up giving a bad feedback to the seller, since the camera doesn't work, but I'd like to explore any feasible alternatives before doing that.

Almost forgot to mention, I have already updated the software from the SE website too.

I'm not too sure as to what the problem could be, but I would guess its the camera module itself or the connectors on the board.

I would suggest contacting the seller first and ask them if they could do an exchange or refund. Most sellers are more than willing to help to avoid negative feedback..

Also, did you purchase shipping insurance when you bought it? Sounds like it could have been damaged in transit.
