Hello!

I have a problem with my w580i and that is that my games is 2 instead of one. I can't take away one copy because it says "Action failed". I didn't mind because I could still play games. But yesterday when I installed a few other games the phone crashed. So when I'm now trying to play a game it loads a while and the the phone restarts.

I'll post a few images so you could se how it looks like.


It is some old pictures because now is the games in 4 copies after those games I installed yesterday.

I got mine on the memory card, should I do the same thing?

I'll come back with the results.

EDIT: You had the file on the memory card too.

now there is even more java applications. It is now like 10 or something of some and when I do as the guide says only 1 of them gets changed. But the other is still left and there is no way on taking them away. I will come back with pics.

You mean a reflash? Nah, I don't have Windows any more and I don't want to borrow my dads computer.

Maybe later but isn't there any way on doing it? If I format the m2 in the phone will the games disappear then?

i also experience that problem, you need to update your phone, thats what i do in my k800i.

you may have a corrupted game file that you installed, i know SE phone can not easily have virus or anykin like that.

but as i further scna my phone, unhide files on the folder options, it has a unusual folder that been created.

but you will need to sacrifice. the games you have just installed.

updated your phone, format your memory card.

i hope i give you an idea...

Now I have a new m2 (8gb, yey!), but the games is still on the phone. When I clicked on "system" when I was backup-ing my previous files on my m2 i check the system and the map "ams" in it. And there it was. The game I have on my phone that had been duplicated but now I have a new m2 card and the problem still exist.

Can you format the phone in the settings without loosing the flash, patches and unlock?

I've had this a few times on my k800. It sometimes happens when the phone reboots unexpectedly. The way I solved it was to go through the duplicates and try to delete them one by one. You'll keep getting "Operation Failed" (or in your case "Action Failed")but ignore that and try the next one. Occasionaly one will delete. When you have gone through them all, restart the phone, then repeat the process of trying to delete. You may find when the phone boots up that some of them have gone. keep deleting and restarting and eventually they will all delete. It is a long process but it saved me from flashing the FS which is the quick solution!



BTW By flashing the FS, you will not affect the patches and unlock but obviously lose any stored files and you will have to upload the custpack also.

When I'm doing that on a game that has like 10 copies it don't work. Not even one file deletes. I have now restarted the phone and I will try again.

if it has 10 copies you need to move it 11 times :/

You cant move it anywhere and I have been trying to delete all of them.

Can't I reset just the m2 in the phone? I have a w580i and I think that it would work. It is weird because I dont have the m2 with the games but it is still showing in the phone.

This sometimes happen on my k610, first i do try deleting them one by one, if that didnt help, i reinstall the apps/games and dont save the old files, if that didnt solve it, i just reflash.. Hehe

Its a common problem in most phones... i think restarting abruptly or removing battery with Java on can cause it too.

Do this..

Highlight first duplicated apps

then try to move to phone..Of course it will be not allowed
forget it

Highlight second apps duplicated (in same apps)..try to move to phone..Of course it will be not allowed
forget it too..

Do like this to all duplicated apps (in same apps)..Of course it all will be not allowed
forget it..

Then..go back to first again..(First duplicated apps)..

Move to phone now..!!

If it can do now,It's done

You can send it back to ext. memory or stay it there..

It's happend to me too..

Now my phone are back to normal again

But reinstall apps can help your time..

Not moving one by one like this
