I can't connect my Phone to my PC which is running on XP with service pack 3.When i connect my phone to the pc the usual 2options appear on my phone
1.File transfer
2.Phone mode
But nothing happens in the pc not even an error message appears....pc completely ignores that my phone is connected to the pc. At 1st i thought it was a usb port problem in my pc but all my other usb devices work fine only my phone has this problem. I recently had to flash my phone due to the fact that it went dead all of a sudden but the phone is working fine now. It can't be a problem with the usb cable because it responds in the phones end when connected to the pc.Can someone help me with this problem....any help is greatly appreciated.

Do you have the USB drivers installed? If they aren't, the phone does prompt for you to choose between File transfer mode and Phone mode, but you don't see the "Removable disk X:" in My computer. Try uninstalling/ reinstalling them from the CD you got in the package (the PC suite)

yea as suggested try any PC SUITE like SONY PC SUITE or MY PHONE EXPLORER and see if your phone is being detected there .....
