As most of you hav heard that we can now patch CID53 with den_po's any cid method.The method is very easy but it has limitation that it can only patch R8 & not R6.R8 firmware can be downloaded from here:-

But the only real problem arises that R8 cannot run elf but R6 can.
We can successfully patch R6 if we have the executor.b file for R6.


Tutorial for patching DB 2020 CID 53:-

First of all download any cid zip file from this topic:-

Now extract it & search for your phone model.For example i choosed W610.

Now open the folder & search for ur firmware.

Number of downloads: 522
Extract the contents.It will be like TPA/PRESET/CUSTOM/Executor.b
Now extract the DB2020.zip contents from the main directory.
Its contents will be TPA/PRESET/CUSTOM/executor.jar
TPA/PRESET/CUSTOM/customize_upgrade.xml

Now send these files to phone via jdflasher & turn on your phone.
Goto filemanager>games> Run executor
It will restart your phone.
Take out the battery before the phone turns on.

Now copy the qa2020.xml file to far/plugins/jdflasher/scripts/

Open far manager.Press alt+f1.select just da flasher.select script as qa2020 & click jump into the large rabbit hole.

It will open bflash & bfs.Open bflash.

Once it is opened then patch the rest file of your firmware.You have to make it with mkrest2.exe which is in the jdflasher/rest/ directory under far.

Now patch it with quick access patch made by the qamaker inside jdflasher/db2020_52/

Number of downloads: 311
After this you have sucessfully bypassed security for your phone.Add patches with the same technique.
& remember that you hav to bypass security like this every time you add new firmware to your phone.

Tutorial R8-->R6

1. We must upload to phone R8 firmware.
2. We have upload executor files.
3. Connect phone to far with qa2020 script.
4. Use bflash.
5. Now upload MAIN an R6.
6. When you upload main, already upload quick acess patch R6.
7. Now must disconnect phone. Don't turn on phone.
8. Now connect to phone use db2020 script.
9. Use oflash
10. Now upload FS an R6
11. Disconnect phone.
12. Now connect phone with DB2020 script.
13. Now use ofs and upload custom r6 to /tpa/preset/cutom.
14. Disconnect phone, now you have [hw]W610[/hw] R6.

try to create the rest file with the make_rest of setools2lite, and move to the rest folder in far directory.

hai.. tq so much 4 da topik... it's really a new year gift... my hp is k530 --->> W660_R8BB001_MAIN_GENERIC_FY_RED53.....btw.. i had a problem... its supposed when i run the executor my hp will restart right??.. when i run the executor at games... its respond operation failed... n i used the firmware w660i in the any cid packet... is there any solution 4 my prob??

Nope, W380 isn't DB2020 like W610, it's PNX.

If your w380 is one of db20xx and you have R8 Firmware that the answer is YES
