hi iv just been givin a k750i works fine only 1 fing rong with it the lil switch behind bac for camera has broke and wen u go on camer its says open lense cover but owell

i was wundering if its possible 2 change my k750i 2 a w800/w810? is this posible ?

The camera ribbon flex cable needs replacing, the part is very cheap but it can be a bit tricky to fit.

I believe though there is a patch which tricks the phone into thinking the lens cover is always open so you can activate and use the camera via the menu or holding the cam button down for a sec.

you could flash to w800 (not w810 unless you want a dead phone) then use the patch as suggested (thats what i would do)

I would use a cocktail stick to prise the switch open

Worked on my former bosses k750 when my other former boss broke the switch replacing the front and rear covers
