I want to buy a new cover for my white w580i
i decided to buy the boulevard black cover on ebay
but i dont no if this is a good fake cover or original cover

I think it's a fake, the front part is too shiny. A good fake though.

If it's fake, it's quite an excellent fake.
Perhaps the shine on the front cover might have been caused by bright flash?

Also note that it's named a 'very high quality fascia' and not an OEM one.

Therefore it is safe to assume that this particular housing is quite fake, impressive fake though, not like the fakes you get down here

There are no OEM boulevard black covers available 
OEM grey and black covers don't have highlights in the paint, they are all plain colored.

I ordered a black one back in may 2007 (before the release) but they kept pushing the deliver deadline on and one so in the end I got a grey w580i with reduced price for all the waiting... I haven't ever seen a boulevard black one, not in stores, not on the streets...

i buyed this becouse it looks original
only the front cover is a bit shining but the quality is ok
other covers have a bad quality

As I said. I bought one from At&t in the Usa and still own one. I have several friends with the black one as well. Where do you live?
