yes, but I think once you flash to cid49, you can't flash back to cid36 using davinci+far (ie: free method), since you have to use a later version of davinci that can't flash without finalisation (so it costs atleast a credit on davinci)?

Well, download davinci client and click "Read Cable/CID", then read the result (my guess: CID49).
In that case go to the FAQ and read.

Hello, I posted on another post but I just can't get a simple answer. I just want to know how to copy my sms' from my original folder on my W800i to the /tpa folder, cause everytime I try to copy them they just go into my computer's FAR folder instead of on my phone. Any simple pointers? Thanks!

Seriously man you do not make any sense.

If you want to backup your SMS's use the instructions in the beginning of this thread and copy /ifs/messaging/ folder to you computer

If you want to restore your messages then copy the messaging folder on your computer back to the phone to the /ifs/ folder.

I still can't copy it still. I managed to copy them from my phone to my computer but I just don't know how I can copy them from my computer into my phone, what is the beginning directory or whatever. Is it SEFP:/FS.....?

browse to the right sms folder...
move to right panel (ur computer) with TAB key... and select the sms files u want to copy back to ur phone, then use F5 (copy)

As I understand it, you want to copy all your messages that you had before making the 'unlimited nr of messages' alteration from \smsdata to \tpa

As benz hinted, the TAB-key is the missing component in your process

You can do this:

1. Open FAR and connect to your phone with the SEFP plug-in. As I understand you know how to do this.

Let's presume you have SEFP in the right panel.
Make sure your right panel is active - you can switch to another side by pressing TAB..

2. Press Alt+F1 to open the Drive-dialog for the left-panel (Alt+F2 for the right)
3. Just press Enter (/Return).

When you have the selector in one panel, select a drive in the other panel and press Enter, FAR opens the same drive & folder in the other panel.

4. In the left panel you now also should have your phone

5. Navigate one panel to \smsdata Press the + on your keypad-section of the keyboard and press Enter (/Return). by doing so you have selected everything visible in that panel.

6. Select the other panel (TAB ) and navigate to \tpa

7. Press F5 and Enter (/Return).

See them fly..

You don't really need this conversion.
ANY other soft checks BABE's signature.
So even if you make BABE-image(it's not big problem) - you CAN'T do anything whith it
