Description:

This program has the best interface that allows you to create a CDA file for your Sony Ericsson phone. DB2010, DB2020, DB3150 and DB3210 platforms supported.

i guess so

the main idea of this program was to generate customize_upgrade.xml so it will change CDA (requires phone reboot)
then (if you want) debrand your phone using seus

i am releasing v1.01 very soon which will support c905 aswell!

Personally I think you should remove it, many people listen to music while browsing the net, and can be annoying for random sounds being played

I apologize for "ripping" off your online program. My program is basically a gui to make cda change easy, not debranding. i personally think your one is better in terms of not being able to access a program that generates "customize_upgrade.xml" but access this online.

GUIDE:

1. Open "A2 CDA File Generator v1.01.exe" and choose
your model.

2. Choose a Region.

2. Obtain a correct CDA for your phone (if not provided).
Then enter your CDA Number

3. Enter your CDA Revision.(optional)

4. Click "Generate XML File".

Debranding your phone:

What you Need:
- SEUS (Sony Ericsson Update Service)
- A2 Uploader
- Gordan Gate's SE flash drivers

6. Install SEUS and Gordan Gate's SE flash drivers (ggsetup.exe).

7. Open A2Uploader.

8. Click "FileSystem Tool". Connect phone via usb holding '2+5'.
you can let go of '2+5' once A2Uploader has detected your phone.

9. Browse to the directory 'tpa/preset/custom' then copy over
"customize_upgrade.xml".

NOTE: If you get an error, your phone memory might be full. You will
have to do step "10.", disconnect your phone then delete something in
your phone memory.

10. Click "Shutdown FS Manager". Disconnect your phone and turn it on.

11. Let it load. If prompted for "Normal/Flight Mode", choose normal
mode.

12. Turn off the phone.

13. Run SEUS and follow the prompts.

Enjoy a debranded phone!

tested on my w910i and results are in:
america not work but found correct cda
apac-anz not work but found correct cda
france not work
hong-kong not work
israel not work
jamaica not work
taiwan not work

does anyone have simlar results? for different phones perhaps?

can this can be used to flash to a different region fw?

http://www.jockep.07x.net/cda/lang.php < when i open that in FF3, the colors are quite hard to see without highlighting, but they're ok in IE7

and on the webpage the k850 americas cda is <cda-number>1201-0095</cda-number>, but from the program it is <cda-number>1201-0089</cda-number>, will either work?
