Well i think just form common sense that dropping it would affect it. But either SE have cased it in better or you dropped your harder or something

Seriously it's quite obvious that the accelerometer will be affected when you dropped it

it's physics. remember, the N95 is bigger and heavier than the W910. also it depends on how high it was dropped from.

Lol... @devilwasabi

Anyway, think of it this way: The accelerometer is a device which tracks motion, so it must be some sort of pole with a fully rotational object attached to it... eg. think of a pole with a helicopter blade, but only one blade attached to it. Now, accelerometers are pretty precise instruments to measure motion like that, so you can imagine that a large amount of force against the accelerometer will reduce the precision of it, which most likely happened in your case. You might need to recalibrate it's offset so that it will function normally. Unfortunately, I have no idea how you would do this.

Also keep in mind, that was what I think the accelerometer is.
Ok, why should I keep track of how many days I haven't used Winblows? I uninstalled it like a month ago... Linux = win ^^

That's not physics, just which phone is better made/bulkier than the other. :p

The accelerometer is obviously a fragile thing, seeing as it is made to respond to small movements of shakes, not to withstand big knocks and sudden falls.

thanks for telling me this =)) i have recalibrated my accelerometer with Nokmote and i found that there is nothing wrong with it. i think the application called "Moving Ball" for S60, there is a problem with the script. not the phone.

I got angry at my k850i when it was blue ringing and the accelerometer is unaffected and I threw it hard lol. Broke the bottom where the battery goes.
