Hello.

I have one problem, and one possible solution for it, without buying new earphones.

I have HPM-70 and after few months of using them, one suddenly started to produce sound more quiet than other headphone. So, now, my left earphone is louder than the right one.

I've read a guide for ear safety, considering the loudness of earphones, and for the last few months I've listened to the music at 50% of the max volume... And now, I barely hear any sound on the right earphone. When I tune up to 100%, I can hear sound at the right earphone, at the desired level, but tuning up to 100% also makes left one too loud, and dangerous to ear.

So I'm asking is there any way to make left one a bit more quite, or make the right earphone louder? So when I tune up to 50% (in case I make the right louder) or 100% (if I make the left one more quiet) to sound even? Make the sound level the same?

Is there any elf who can control sound output for each headphone? Or maybe some driver modification (i think that this would be easier and better)?

Thanks

1. the none balanced sound could be coming from the audio file itself.

2. is it the same thing (sound) when using the radio?

3. try using different audio (acoustic) driver.

4. the hpm-70 wire could be damaged.

ok

i know

but, is there a way to do this? buying new stuff is always the easiest and most expensive solution... imagine that something is wrong with my phone, and i buy a new one, without even trying to repair it

It's not your phone that's damaged but the HPM-70. Repair the HPM if you want to repair something, this is the cheapest solution, if my Headphones get damaged I cut them, solder new cables and that's it :) This is much easier than modifying the sound driver. Or you can just edit all your MP3s that one channel is much louder than the other one ;)

i've thought about cutting wire, but it seems that wire is damaged inside the headphone, and when i do the wiring, it looks like cr** :D
