no. r8ba024 or R8BE001 have elfpack, R8BE001 is faster, less bugs, most used, most patches and has updated java platform.

i did everything and have patched my phone the way mentioned but still can't get it to work :(
what should i do???
here is what i did
1)switched the f/w and f/s

2)followed this guide to patch the 3 patches given after patching my phone with quick access patch
http://www.akshayy.c...r-db2020-phone/

3)put the elves the way it was mentioned
in the filesystem
but the phone still does not recognizes the elves...

while installing the patches i think something was not right because setool2lite didn't ask to remove the cable and re insert the battery etc but it didn't show any error either

For patching you don't need to remove and reinsert as you would with the Quick Access patch.

Try following the tutorials here with JDFlasher.

Quick Access patch with JDFlasher.

http://www.sliderwithstyle.com/node/35

"The patch will be then applied. After patching is done setool 2 lite says .vkp executed disconnect phone reinsert battery and start your phone."

which doesn't happens in my phone
