Hi,

I've been searching for a quite while, but still I haven't found an answer for what I'm looking for.

My question is, is it possible to get ONLY the Walkman-player(instead of the standard-mediaplayer) on my K770i? If so, HOW do I do this?

As I said, I have searched but I couldn't find anything.

First off, :welcome: to SE-NSE!

And i'm afraid you can't get Walkman on it's own.
And you can't cross-flash the K770i to any Walkman phone either.

Yeah i'm afraid!
I'm not sure If you already know about Cross-flashing, I know you didn't ask about this but i'll tell you anyway. Cross-flashing requires two phones with similar or if not, near identical hardware.
For example there is K750i - W800i which are the same phones in a different shell.
Or K550i - W610i which is the same.

However there are sometimes slight variations to that rule, like with the W880i and K800i where everything works apart from the keypad and camera.

Aah, I see.. Are there no 'fixes' for these faults?

By the way I've just got a question, is it possible to put a password when entering the messages section so that only I (who knows the password) can read the messages?

I'm afraid there isn't as there is no such thing as a 'Keypad driver' or anything to remedy it.

And from what I can remember there was a patch going around a while back, but can't remember what phones it got ported to.
I'll take a quick look for you if you want but I can't quite remember if there was one for the K770i!

I'd appreciate very much if you took a quick look for that! :)

Thanks once again.

Well I could only find it for W800i i'm afraid! (Link)

What I did find however was a Flash Menu with a password lock.
Not sure if it works though but here is the link anyway.
