so i have the k810i and i used to have the w810
its all in all a better phone but
the feature i miss most is how you could be playing a song (app is open) and you can scroll up/down the playlist in walkman
in the k810i, you can shuffle to next/back but to select a song from the playlist its really annoying
so im wondering if its possible to somehow get the walkman program from w810i (have looked at the xs++ stuff but not really found anything there!)
or are there any alternative media players

Yes it is a paid patch. 
Another media player is a JAVA app called KDPlayer. Pretty popular.

KDPlayer to me is better than walkman as you can change the skins and have your own album art.
but the walkman has more bass unless you get acoustics?

Well, walkman 2 can change skins and has album art as well.
