Hey guys! What's up? I was wondering if someone here could guide me through the process of debranding my W580i. I know a little bit about this, but I don't know how to determine which files I need, so here's a picture of my phone Specs:

My Region is in the United States. To be even more specific, the state is California. I hope I've provided enough information needed to find the necessary files to debrand my phone. Thanks ahead of time for reading this and to the future posters in this thread! :D

Well HERE is where all the firmware files for my phone are. I don't know which one to choose. Or was I in the wrong section of the downloads?

W580_R8BE001_MAIN_GENERIC_LA_RED52

FS: W580_R8BE001_FS_AMERICA_1_RED52 or W580_R8BE001_FS_AMERICA_2_RED52

Find them all here. :)

(AMERICA_1 and AMERICA_2 have language differences. Check)

CUSTPACK: Depends on your choice, either AMERICA_1 or AMERICA_2 (must correspond to your FS)

Should use R8BE001, more patches and stuff. Currently the most supported and used firmware by modders using the w580i.

I'm at the Custpack page, and I'm using AMERICA_1, so I go to the American 1 folder, and there are 2 files inside. Which one should I use? Just so you don't have to search around, here's the link to the custpacks. After that, I think I may be able to pull this procedure off. I quite appreciate the help you guys are giving me :D

Either. If one doesn't work, try the other! Start with the R8A first. :)

flash with XS++... there may be a built in America custpack in it. but check and make sure first. use R8BE main.
W830...R1KG001 Main Generic EA, Peter's HiFi v2 both farfield_closed and farfield. Number1 4.1 cam driver, Hyper W850 light effects, walkman skins + visualizations, Sony Sketch 2.0.5.1 font (thanks to diezil), Centur display driver, Patches, etc. goodbye W810. you sure? so how in the world did i flash my sister's W580? because i have no W580 custpacks on my pc.

Hmmm... Maybe I don't know how to do this as well as I thought i could. So now that I have the files, what do I do with them? I have SEtools2Lite, so how do I use it to debrand my phone, hopefully without any complications. Oh! And I'm also using the R8BE001, just cuz it has more patches and stuff and more ppl are using it. Again ,I appreciate the time you guys are putting in to help me.

Since you have CID52, you can use XS++ to flash in your firmware.

XS++ v3.1, Backing up GDFS (must!)

XS++ v3.1, Flashing your phone

Both have clear screenshots for you to follow. :)

UPDATE: Debranded successfully! Though when I put the new R8BEE01 FW on it, after I turned my phone on I still can't delete the Walkman theme, or some new theme on it called Spinnin ) : Can someone explain this plz?

The "new" theme comes with that firmware. And to delete the walkman theme (and a load of other stuff inc unsed langauges) use FSX in XS++
