Did the following to the screen on my W550i whilst canoeing.

Im pretty sure i did it from slipping and banging it on a rock, rather than getting water in the phone. Everything apart from the screen works as normal.

Ive been into a local shop and they said that it would cost me £40 to get it repaired. And for that price id rather spend a bit more on a new phone.

Just wondering if there are any websites that sell new lcd screens that i could have a go at fitting myself. Ive checked out ebay, but im not sure if these are genuine screens:

And if they arent will this affect the quality a lot?

Thanks in advance for any help :)

I think you'll probably be alright with the ones from ebay though maybe Mattwood could offer advise as to whether they're likely to be original or third party. The W550i screen isn't spectacular in the first place with pretty low resolution so even a third party part shouldn't have too tough a task to match the quality.
