Phone Type I have selected w580
files i have added
W580_R8BA024_MAIN_GENERIC_LA_RED52.mbn
W580_R8BA024_FS_C_ASIA_RED52.fbn
Under MISC I have added
W580_CDA102568_7_R8A_GENERIC_C_ASIA.zip
I have removed my sim card in my phone. When I hold down the C button and then plug in the USB cable I get:
Phone function unavailable during USB connection.
I then press Flash on the setool2lt. I have waited up to two hours I finally hit stop. My phone never seems to be touched at all.
I have installed the usb drivers, but still does not work.
Can someone please tell me why this is not working. I have even upgraded to setool2lt v 1.11 and checked
bypass db security 2020db
and use quick access patch. but still nothing is working.
Please advise.

You cant have the flash drivers installed if its going into transfer mode
Either that or like Lynott said: you are not holding 'c'
However, if 'c' dont work, try using 2 and 5

My Stuff: Desktop | MENU.ML Formatter | ExtractFS | DB2020 Resources | HB1-06 Custpacks
More Stuff: VistaBars Pack | Hide your IMEI numbers | (More useful links to come...)
I've been out of the SE scene for quite a while now, but I'll help as much as I can. PM.

(Those firmwares that end with "RED53")
Mirko750's esnips has some of 'em. Look around.
Good luck!

I have downloaded everything mentioned in this tutorial: http://akapu.wordpre...with-jdflasher/
Then on step 8: 08. As soon connect your phone and double click on “bflash”, I have oflash not bflash
I double click on oflash and I get a far windows empty on the left and my main far directory on the right. I click on my main and tell it to flash as babe image and it errors out. I am still stuck, but my phone is still working fine. It seems to not have flashed it at all.
If this tutorial is incorrect can you please send me a better one? Most of the download links were broken so I had to find the apps online at random places that they did not install they were self extracting.
Thanks,

Use XS++'s FSX to upload your custpack manually.
Only then do you use JDFLASHER or SETOOL2LITE to put your patches & the quick access patch in. XS++ 3.1 cannot patch your phone yet.
Well, that's what I always do, and it works. =X

How do I know what patches I need? and would W580_CDA102568_7_R8A_GENERIC_C_ASIA.zip be my custom pack? Can you point me in the direction for the correct patches also?
Thanks,

=X Yes I forgot...
@kerneldead
Don't follow what I did; your phone is CID53 and those instructions are for CID52 and below.
Unfortunately, since your phone is CID53, you cannot patch anything at the moment.
