Repeat this process for the File System.

Custom packs

Choose your DB.

The custom pack has to match your fs. So find one which has user_ or your phone name in it with the name of your file system for DB2010.

e.g. EUROPE_2

If we had a EUROPE_2 one and it was for W810 for instance, then we could pick one such as W810i_CDA102494_2_EUROPE_2 or model_CDA102555_11_EUROPE_2.

For DB2020, we can do the same, except model_ is replaced by HB1-06.

EDIT: This might not be so easy now, topsony has added a feature where you have to log in to see even the names of the firmware, I hope they get rid of it again.

EDIT 2: You're going to have to use the SE Users Spanish forum - currently SE Users are doing work on their site, i'll guide you through it.

R8BE001 is the latest and last firmware. If you have older, download main, APAC FS and APAC custom from www.seusers.com and flash.

sir one m0re question, shoud main,fs and custom are dsame in region? It shoud be possible i select germany or us region where in fact this phone is from taiwan? There is no available taiwan cuspack in the link you have posted. i already have taiwan main and FS.

FS and cust pack should be same region. Main can be different, like generic for example.
You need any specific language, or just english?
You can check here: http://www.topsony.c...e=info_lenguaje
and see what region you need to pick according to languages you need.
Look at db2020 part, as W880 is db2020.

Thanks for the beautiful and technical guide..
Following the same steps mentioned above there is no link to download the FS files ( as you mentiond like this " Repeat this process for the File System. " ) its not of more use.. Please update and kindly help

There are FS files in the links. This tutorial is dated and firmware can be found on many other sites too so what firmware are you looking for?
