Hi all!

I'm wondering, is there any way to use my phone without battery, from charger?
Because If you start charging the phone, and it warms up, you can take out a battery for some sec,
so the phone could work without it.

So , is it possible to write a patch or an alf like the DisableShutdown ?

Thx!

No but the phone automatically powers off when the battery is taken out. That's the last resort when the phone crashes so it probably wouldn't work.

Huh, it was fast. Thanks for the answare!

But don't you think it would be a great idea?
I always take care for the batteries , e.g.: I always disconnect from my Notebook while I'm on AC power, the battery's lifetime can be much longer.

how do you suppose the phone will work if there's no power supply to it?
do you want something like a direct poower connection from the USB cable to the phone?
i use my k790 as a modem for like atleast 15hours a day, its been 3 months since i bought this phone and i've been using it on 15+ hrs a day for internet for 2 months now. its working alright. and you can always buy a new battery if the current one dies on you. batteries or cheap anyway.

Well, you are right.
But the battery don't like if you always charge it! You have to cyclical discharge it.
And If I home, I would like to listen music from , and make phone calls, and by the time , I have to leave home, the battery is under 30%, and it is not enough me for a day. So I have to plug in the charger to the phone non-stop while I'm home.

And sometimes, I haven't got enough batteries :) More phone than battery, so it would be also good there.

He means that the mobile is plugged into mains (charging), but when the battery is removed, the phone shuts down, even when the mains are still in. He doesn't want it to shut down, so he can prolong the life of the battery.
