Just saw that on Esato, Prudent had posted a sneek peek pic of Patti, the W960i's successor.

After looking at some comments it also looks like it has:
2.4" screen
Maybe Touch Screen, or Touch Buttons

I'll try to keep this updated as more information is leaked too.

Since when is Patty the W960i successor? It´s based on the C902, and not an UIQ model.
Phone: G900 Dark Brown, unlocked, R9N
Mods: G700 icons, standby layout, main menu captions
Brand: Frogskin - High quality KD Player (10000+ views and counting) and PowerMP3 skins

I agree with chaos7, if it was the successor of the W960 it would be running on Symbian UIQ platform... It should be running that one, or Sony Ericsson decided to change the platform :)

The W960 successor will have a large touchscreen interface as far as I am aware, which would suggest a smartphone of some description.

Or something else?

(I mean the W960 successor)

doesnt look very big for a W960 successor... maybe a w610/w810 succesor maybe.

whats more is, i dont think that phone is wide enough to accommodate a 2.4" screen...

hope if theyre putting touch buttons on it that they make sure that they work correctly unlike the debacle that they supplied on the K850i. I had 3 phones before I got one that worked correctly with regard to the touvh sensitive buttons.

Absolutely love mine personally.
Much prefer the implementation on the K850 to what they did with the W960.

I just wish we had more information on this phone.
I'm looking at possibly getting a new DAP just now but if there were a 16GB :walkman: handset with decent enough battery life, I could be tempted to finally switch to carrying a single device...
