I don't know whether it's normal or abnormal. following is the story:
It's a Rogers Wireless w580i. Locked to Rogers, couldn't use your own mp3s as ringtone.
I forgot to identify it (should be cid52) before fashing it with setool 2 lite v1.11. (sim card and m2 card removed before flashing)
After flashing was completed, I turned on the phone and was astonished to see the screen is distorted.
As if you hook up a low end computer CRT monitor to a high end graphic card and the CRT can't catch up the graphic card's refresh rate. The content (picture) on the w580i's screen is vertically enlarged, you can see the interlaced lines on the screen of the phone.
Then I tried SE-US to fix the problem: SE_US did NOT allow me to update the phone, gave me a message like "your phone is up-to-date". I flashed it back to a lower ASIA version and gave a another try. This time SEUS started to update the phone. Eventually fix the display problem.
But new problem came up: the CID is changed to cid53 from cid52, setool2 lite could not flash it any more!!!
SAD SAD SAD
:'(
Is there any one came across this kind of issue before?
Please shed some light on me! Many thanks!
Cheers
