ok so then i figure out how to unlock patch the w600 now i need is how to debrand the w600i? can someone help me out by giving a tutorial+files or a link to that? this w600i is cingular branded

Flash a generic main file, your usual fs and a generic custom pack. But if you do this you will have to apply unlock patch again.

where can i get the generic main file and a generic custom pack at and how do i no which is my usual fs?

Where do you live? I need your region for fs and custom pack. I can't get main yet because i don't know what the latest firmware is and topsony is updating.

i live in cali(usa), and will those files help me unbrand the w600?

edit: o yea i have another w600 which is dead(as in cant turn on at all no sound display lights) is it possible to fix?

Yes you might be able to fix, have you tried reflashing your firmware on the dead one?

I need to wait for topsony to start working again. I don't know what the latest firmware is.

umm it wont connect to the pc, i tried holding c and plugging in the usb cord and nothing popped out or any sound or safety removable device belong to it

You need USB Flash Drivers if the phone goes into File Transfer Mode.

it doesnt go into file transfer mode it doesnt turn on at all w/ or w/o a usb cord
