done!! ive updated the w830 elfpack with the dyn!

cool diezil said that DYN should be able to run everything except call logger because it's a basic DYN but the library is still incomplete so it won't matter yet. at least i can minimize bluetooth transfers on my W830 now

Hi thugz... I've tried to install elfs these days (none of them working...)
am I missing anything???
1. Flashed my K770i R8BC004 to R8BA024 + FS n Cust. Pack (like u've told me to)
2. Make the tpa/user/other/ZBin, tpa/user/other/ZBin/Config, card/other/ZBin, card/other/ZBin/Daemons
3. Copying DYN_COST.bin in tpa/user/other/ZBin/Config
4. Copying all elf to tpa/user/other/ZBin, and the card/other/ZBin/Daemons (so it start On Startup)
5. Install the K770_R8BA024 elfpack patch.vkp and K770_R8BA024 lib.vkp <-- Newest lib from svn

then what else???

I've tried elfs like StatusRowClock (with minute_ticker999), Desktop (ver 1, 1.1, 1.2) and sleepmode
none of them worked... why??? did I miss anything???

seems like you've done everything perfectly..i have no idea why the elfs dont work ....ask some other k770 elf user..or wait for someone else to reply here!!

It seems that you have forgotten the INI files, CFG, and so on.
Create folders:
other/ini put all files INI
other/zbin/config/desktop/ all files for desktop (png and cfg)

And run SWIS.elf.
I am sure that in the SVN lib does not have the necessary functions for the desktop elf

Hi

I have a K750i@W800i CiD49 Red with W800_R1BD001_MAIN_EU_1_CA_RED49.bin (Both 344 Block & 291 Block version). When i flash with 344 or 291 Block version, FAR give me a mismatch error when patching "W800_R1BD001.vkp" (56 mismatch!). If i force the patch, when i patch the lib with "W800_R1BD001_Lib.vkp", i obtain 95%+ error

What's the hell ? CiD49 firmware not compatible with elfs pack ?

It's a clean firmware, downloaded from link given in elfs pack topic, work fine when flashed (i tried all other patch, all works, no mismatch error, so the main is good).

CiD49 not compatible is the only way, not strange because elf pack is provided for CiD36 main, who is different from mine (CiD49)

Any report ?

of course cid 49 is compatible dont go making absurd asumptions...just apply the patch and if u get any errors, tell em!

I tried to flash, but when i start phone the screen blink and don't start (like user of w800i cid49 on the elf pack topic)

With both FAR or Gslide, i have same error

- Flashed/finalised firmware
- Power up phone, and copy elf pack (config, zbin etc...) in phone memory
- Power off, and patching with writing script function of setool > no error, appear to be good
- Power on > nothing (the screen stay off, no blink, nothing)

The firmware step is ok, all work fine, but each time i apply the elf vpk patch, no more work

FAR, GSlide and setool, all break my main firmware when apply patch

I don't understand, on my old firmware i used some patch and all worked fine

Note : With firmware 344 Block, setool say "no error", all block are ok > break firmware

well, actualy I've tried running the Desktop elf with the Desktop.cfg and the Icons in tpa/other/ZBin/Config/Desktop folder...
but as thugz said, there's no ini or cfg file for the StatusRowClock elf (with minute_ticker999)...

so, if anyone out there using K770i R8BA024 CID52 and able to run elf... pleasseeee share your files here...

try flashing your phone wit another version of the same firmware!!

It's what i do, i flashed with version 291 block, and version 344 block, the one give error when flashing, and refuse to boot, the second flash without error, but also refuse to boot

Hi,thanks for the reply.Can my K750i support the elf function Camera Shortcut keys.Its a CID49 Brown EROM with firmware R1CA021 original.

If in the event I flash it wrongly and my phone is dead,is there any possible way for me to revive it.I already back-up the GDFS of the phone and kept it somewhere save.

ive never actually tried the elf but im pretty sure it'l work! and if you've killed the phone, just do a reflash of the main and fs!!
