It had been released in 2007. K850i and SO905iCS released at the same moment, but you can see very BIG difference in technology here.
Only released in Japan (by NTTDoCoMo). CMIIW, but I think it will beats K850i, or even lastest N96 easily

The Japanese always seem to get the best technology and it's a shame that the NTT DoCoMo SO905iCS will never make it globally

Unfortunately, it use CMOS, not CCD.
Most of the camera phone use CCD.

CMOS is less sensitive, but very fast to capture fast-moving images.

Just googling to see PRO and CONS between CMOS and CCD sensor

in japan they demand better phones with better features, here in the UK were quite happy to just buy the over-priced rubbish look how well the iphone did.

Correct me if I'm wrong but does that mean the handset works on GSM bands?
