I've got a faulty P800. All it does is that it powers on, but just freezes at the sony ericsson logo.

I flashed the firmware with TMS, but nothing happened.
I thought I would try to flash the language, CDA and PDA software files, but TMS won't recognise the phone.
I just get the error message "Invalid model type, please choose the proper type from the ComboBox!".

I don't get it. I've got the TMS cable, I've chosen the P800 in the model selection menu. Why do I get the message that it's the wrong model type?

It doesn't recognise it.

But I flashed the firmware with TMS, and that worked fine.
