Hi,
can someone pls post a working sysgfx patch for w800i R1BC002?

All the patches I've come across give me a byte mismatch error in FAR
Or am I doing something wrong? :help:

You can always reflash ur main only if ever problems persist. You have nothing to loose when you apply it. Just try it

Some firmwares has 2MB of data more than others.. Maybe you had other firmware and when you flashed it to R1BC002, those unused 2MB of data stills there.. I don't know which was the correct solution. But I think that is your problem.
HELLO Mods!
Now I have a K850i DB3150 CID52

I'm using this patch (attached) so I've saved the pngs to /tpa/user/other/gfx

So, is there any way out? I had k750i RICA021. Will flashing back to it help?

I had some similar problems before, only with other patches! The thing is that you get that missmatch because of your previuos patches (the ones that go between the Main and FS). So, here's what to do:

1. Unzip recoverybin.zip
2. Open recoverybin.exe and drag your Main file into it. The program will create a new Main with a clean section of FFFFFFFF... between the Main and FS, called the same as your original file, only with "RECOVERY" in the end of the name
3. Flash this new Main to your phone
4. Now you can enjoy any patch you want!!!

Good luck!

Cool, will try that.

Pls clarify two things for me.

1. How does stuff between main and fs get affected? Apart from sysgfx, I haven't come across any patch which changes that area

2. How is this different from simply flashing with main? In either case, we'll be wiping out existing data and writing new data

Thx...

1. There are quite a lot of patches that go beyound Main's flashing area, such as masterpatch, advanced range of brightness for display, API and many many others. If you open your patches with notepad you will see that some of them have a lot of "FFFFFF..." in them, so that means that area was empty. Probably you had this kind of patches on your K750, so when you changed from K750 to W800 firmware some parts of them remained, and now they're messing your W800 ones.

2. Because Main files are different in size (depending on version and language pack), there's an extra available flashing area between Main and FS that it's untouched (FFFF... area) when you flash your phone. This area is used by sysgfx patch and the patches mentioned above. So, this new Main includes that flashing area (you will see that it's size will be greater, because after the Main's usual code, it has FFFFF... written till the starting address of FS).

@andrei_3d thx for the clarification.

I went to command prompt and typed recoverybin.exe <name of main file>

It created, like you said, a file with recovery at end of name. This is a .mbn file. When I try to flash using file and XS++ I get an error saying

Binary acknowledge failed with: 15

:help:
