I understand. However it seems everytime I get close to the commercial availability of a phone I have 'set my sites on', another even more attractive model (both in features and its appearance) is on the horizon!

I don't think we should necessarily be looking at the W950 an an iPod killer, nano or otherwise. I don't think SE are aiming for that with the W950, rather I would have thought it more likely that the W950 would be put up against the N91 as a music player and business device. That would make sense since a camera probably isn't crucial to those looking for a professional tool.

Perhaps the W810 is Evita?

i agree with you . Comparing W950i and N91 .
i will prefer to buy the W950i. i rather not have the video call and 3.2mp camera.
honestly i hardly snap any photos from handphone. i prefer using digital camera instead.
although UMTS network is up in my country but i dun think i wanna make any video call

So i will buy W950i ... Hooray

I think there will probably always be a market for the dedicated device, whatever it does e.g. music player, camera, watch, etc. Something like the W950 does home in on those people who aren't really bothered about a dedicated device and would rather have a single device that let them do different things.

if they price this one right and if the ads are good this one is going to be a top seller

right you are but I suffer from the same disorder as rupbert. Also, the delay of Z800 put me off and when it was finally released I had my eyes set on something else...

Personally I don't mind the lack of camera on this phone as it has so many other great features. I do think SE will loose a lot of potential customers due to this though
