Broken Camera Button? can't take pics!!! Rate Topic: -----

Hey guys i have this issue where i can't seem to take pics on my w810i... i can get into the photo taking part but i can't snap any pics it won't even autofocus anymore... I can get into the camera by pressing the camera button fine and then tha camera button lights up like 3 times then i can't take anything i have enough memory on my phone and i've tried alot of things but is it hardware malfunction or what is it! if anyone has a solution it would be nice to know how to solve this... thanks

Your camera key is probably broken, and afaik the only way to fix it is to replace the keyboard. :(
But if you don't want to do that you can use the Camera Shortcuts elf to take photos with other keys than the camera key. :)

is it cid 49 or cid 50?if cid 49 u can have that elf mate,but if cid 50 i think no hope

i have that too,but why do i have 2 change the whole keypad,i mean the button activates the camera no problems

you all still have it easy. i have a W600 with a broken camera button. and as far as i know, there isn't elfs for W600.

dude, i haven't a clue about elfs these days, sorry. my W810 has gone for repair over a month now so i haven't been up to date with modding. especially elfs because the only one i really used was logo changer.

unfortunately i've added the camera shortcut and to my knowledge no prevail i didn't work for some odd reason so i have no clue on how to work around this unless i installed it wrong but the other elf work for tha battery clock so if anyone can tell me what i'm doin wrong it'll be a big help

ok ppl,i don't think that has anything 2 do with the hardware,sometimes i CAN take pics,maybe one or two,i've flashed but it doesn't work
