Hello All

There has been another change to the rules on signatures I'm afraid. Yes I know we just changed them, but Eggy has decided to change them back to the previous version so please now observe these rules. Thank you all.

They were created in addition to the rules already to be found in SE-NSE's Forum Rules. Don't forget these Forum Rules still remain valid ones and also apply to signatures, unless mentioned otherwise. • Signatures are limited to 4 lines (including empty ones) in length
  
  
• Font sizes larger than default (default size = 2) are not allowed
  
• There may be no advertising of commercial ventures in signatures (unless permission is granted by the SE-NSE staff), of course links to members' own webpages are still allowed
  
• The use of images larger than 200 pixels in width and 100 pixels in height is prohibited. However, images shorter than 50 pixels in height may have a width of up to 400 pixels. See the images below for examples.

The following maximum dimensions for images are allowed:

Note: Usage of more than one image within one's signature is prohibited. When an image is used, additional text may not be added. One has to choose to either use an image or text, within his/her signature.

E-mails will be dispatched requesting members, with signatures not allowed, to alter these. They shall then be given two days to comply to the new rules. Failure to comply to this request will result in removal of the member's signature.

Minor variations to the signature limitations policy will be allowed at the discretion of the moderating team.

YES!!! I love these rules! Now I'm not going to see the stupid "My modded phone:" signatures or the ridiculous signatures that are meaningless Thanks scots!

and what about one userbar and one line of text? its not the end of the world.

Well, if you think the rules should be changed, it's Eggy you need to appeal to - he's the Admin in charge of moderation issues and, as such, he has the final veto on matters such as this.

but what if you have a small picture and a little bit of text so it wont be more then the max of 3 lines like me?
