It does change every second but sometimes it hangs and it goes like 3 seconds before it changes. and when i minimize the walkman and then press the walkman it goes to the green yellow and then it changes to a another color but it doesn't change after that. To make it change I have to go to another song.

that's the idea , when it shows a color , press Back , and that color will remain until you enter the walkman again

Thank u so much r0x0t0 for this Walkman skin.Works superb on my white W580i and amazing color changing effect.
I was fed up of yellow light effect color that comes with default theme.But this one solved my prob.
