Hi there

New to the forum and by the looks of it you are all very friendly and helpful, great to see.

Well ive stumbled across this website and im very interested in modding my k810i but i aint got a clue where to start are what to do?

The main thing i want to do is install, Ultimate™_Camera_Driver_v2.46_Standard™_for_K790_K800_K810 and a few other things for sound but i aint got clue what 2 do. ive tread reading the topics but get lost. if anyone could point me in the right direction id appreciate it.

Camera drivers, Acoustic drivers can be installed through XS++ v3.1, look in the Tutorials Section here on SE-NSE, you will find a lot of useful topics there... :)

thanks mr thunderbird ok so ive downloaded x2++ 3.1, the k810i usb flash drivers and im installing the update service now....


im lost haha

anyone got msn and 5minutes on their hands?

what does the update service has to do with modding ur phone?

DO NOT USE UPDATE SERVICE!
AS IT WILL UPDATE YOUR PHONE TO THE LATEST SECURITY CID.
In other words, you will be very much limited in modding your phone.

Must be an old tutorial, the Update Service CID thingy is only a couple of weeks old. :)

thats what ive done so far if that makes sense so lets say i want to install this ultimate camera thing, its got camdriver0.dat when i extract it ... is that the right file for my k810i? what the hell do i do now?

After XS++ has built the list of directories, navigate to "IFS/SETTINGS/CAMERA", and delete the original "camdriver0.dat", then upload the new modded one :)

when you instal seus it installs the usb drivers to, thats why it is recomended in some tutorials
