As the title states, I pinched my hpm70 handsfree cable and it doesnt work at all anymore, I ordered a new one online today, But is there a way to fix it? I tried to cut the bad spot out and re-splice the wires together and still no go?! is there a certian way to do it? It looks to me like the filament inside the wires is too fine to splice back together without shorting it out. Has anyone successfully done this? and want to share with me??

I cant do that beacause its the factory HPM70 and it doesnt come apart like that and has 3 more fiber fillament wires in it due to the hands free microphone and the factory fastport connector doesnt come apart, If you get it apart it breaks and will not go back together. Thats why Im askin if the wires could be spliced back together in any way?
