I dont mind the ones like mine, even though it is 'illegal' acording to the rules
Here are the rules, i think we should keep to them, its making the forum look messy in my opinion.
Thanks for Reading.

EDIT: MikLSP
OK folks, I have updated the Signature Rules so please take a look and correct your signature if it violates them.
Signatures which do not conform to the rules will be removed.
You may post here if you spot a large signature and a moderator will take a look.
Cheers,
Mik

Anyway, that's all beside the point.
There are rules which state that over-sized sigs are not allowed and everyone who is a member here has agreed to the terms and conditions and, in doing so, has agreed to abide by the rules that are set down.
That said, I would suggest that the old sig rules (link) need a bit of an update.
From a personal perspective, the image I have in my sig is 650x75 pixels, whereas the maximum we're allowed is either 200x100 or 400x50 (though why it's not just 400x100 is beyond me). Yet despite the fact that it's larger than the guidelines, I wouldn't say that the picture in my sig is in any way excessive.

Indeed it's not a solution..
But PERSONALLY, I better like it without Signatures and Avatars, 1. Saves loading time, 2. Saves scrolling, 3. easier to spot the posts (yea sounds lame
But, that's just my opinion

But, to be fair, you must be able to see how it looks when there's a Mod saying 'you can always just turns sigs off'.
edit: actually, with regards to the point about making it easier to 'spot' the posts, personally I find threads easier to read when there are sigs, as they break it up, as it were.
But that's just me.

Personally I don't think width is the issue as long as it within the width of the page, very long signatures are the main problem.
Just to let you know, this is currently being discussed in the staff section so we'll let you know when an outcome is reached
