i just used the simox unlock patch...but i dont have other sim card to check the phone is unlocked or not...is there other way to it but use a sim card? oh and does the phone get locked again if i flash a new firmware???

Uh, it depends on what network your phone was registered in, if the network had flash themes disabled try using one, or if it disabled mp3 ringtones, try one now..

its att. what abou the the reflash thing? if i reflash the phone...will it remove the unlock patch by simox?

On your phone,make sure it is in the stanby screen,and press the following key sequence">*<<*<*",in words that would be"right,star,left,left,star,left,star",where right and left is the direction to press on the directional pad and star represents the star key.When the service menu comes up go to the service info>simlock.
This will help you check all the locks on your phone.

With patch unlock, If you flash with the new firmware, it will come back to locked.

With fully unlock, If you flash with the new firmware, it will never lock.

Or another way is to take your sim card out and go into phone mode and press <**<

it will is locked it will have a lock next to network, if there is a unlocked lock next to it it's unlocked.

Failing that, just put another network operator's SIM in
