I have tried to unlock my w580i (cid52) with the dclient software which I got from gsmliberty.com. I followed the instructions step by step and the software said it had completed successfully.

Since I completed this I have never been able to switch the handset on, if I connect the handset to the usb I can transfer data but that is all. I have tried a new battery but this still does not work. Does anybody have any ideas?

Yes and that's the reason why I told him to use SE Tool.
He won't neeed to get another software if he has to reflash the phone and unlock it again

Please Can you tell me how, I used x++ & installed main firmware but i still can not use other network simm.

W580_R8BE001_MAIN_GENERIC_LA_RED52.mbn
W580_R8BE001_FS_EUROPE_4_RED52.fbn
CDA102568/13 from topfor custom.
But when I switch the mobile on, it comes with
"configuration error. Please contact your network operator or service center."

I have looked through SE-NSE web site but have failed to find a selution as yet. They are talk about finializing,
HOW!!!!.
Can any one help please......?????????

you should create your own thread instead of invading someone else's,

xs++ has built in custpacks, select customize file system then select your phone model from the drop down list, then select EUROPE_4 and then press flash.

Not for w580... he has to upload them himself...

recharge ur battery to 80-100% for safety
Start XS++ and connect ur phone.
press the FSX tab
press start fsx
*wait for about 2 minutes till its done*
go to tps/preset/custom/
drag and drop all files from ur custompack in that folder in xs++
wait till its done uploading
press shtudown FSX

start ur phone and enjoy
