I followed the tutorial, installed the usb flash and got the program working...

I need to "remember" my phone lock or reset it to 0000...

But my w810 is not a "db2020" version, it's "2010".

I did as stated by the tutorial... but I still don't know what's the lock code and just by looking at the xs+screen I couldn't tell the code... what do I do?

After finishing the procedure, my cell phone kept with the key lights on (orange) but nothing worked. Then I turned it on removing and putting back the battery and the phone lock still unreachable...

could anyone please help me? I'm selling it and I really need to unlock the phone =\

Ok, forget... got no help here so I searched more and finally could get it working with another program...
set2tools, at first I got it done, the lock password was easily read.

Great Tutorial - esp' screen shots n' all - prob' I've got at the moment is XS++ is freezing/locking up after it's done the initial connection and produced this -

Am just wanting to backup GDFS before hopefully unlocking the D750i - as shown above. The copy of XS was d/l from this forum, and I've no prob's with any other s/ware on the PC - Win 2K SP4, AMD 64 X2 ,DDR2 4GB etc.
So I never actually get as far as the 1st screenshot in the tutorial - just gives above readout then seems to lockup - only way to end prog is via Tsk Mgr.

Could it poss' be corrupt drivers?  - Only flash driver I appear to have installed acc' to Device Mgr shows as "USB Flash" & it's "Epiusb.sys" V1.0.0( C\WINNT\System32\Drivers).
Had a scan at the flash drivers tutorial but all seems to be XP and Vista - not sure if drivers would be compatible with 2K..........

Any help real welcome - Am a 100% newbie to this stuff so xcuse any dumb comments!

whats ur problem then buddy??ur usb driver is ok as xs++ has detected ur phone..
the log u given is the initial log given by xs++ after connecting ur phone..now u can do whatever u want using xs++ as the phone is connected succesfully..

How and where i put .vkp file ?
Everything worked but my phone says inactive sim. Now i read that i have to great file ( .vkp ) and put it where? and then its working or something.
I have a big trouble, can anyone help me?

I don't think we can do that with XS++ 3.1... (at least that's what I think... the button is not active)
or if any1 knows how to do patch with XS++ then give us a clue...

Why doesn't work flash menu on my W580i? I have installed usb flash drivers and I copy .swf file to tpa/preset/custom/desktop/system/flash/, and .thm file to tpa/user/theme/, then i turn on my phone, select theme and with menu nothing happend. But I changed menu icons and menu.ml file and i haven't got defalut menu. Is that problem?

you need to make an UNLOCK patch and flash the patch to the phone using SEtool 1.11
