I recently flashed my k750 --> W800 all thanks to SE-NSE. but after flashing to w800 i cant get the artist tab in the walkman player to work. First i simply inserted mem card after flashing and it said No albums found, this can be caused by using wrong PC s/w. so i dwnlded W800 PC suite frm SE then removed all the songs frm my card the pasted it again after starting the phone in music only mode but again the same msg came. btw i use the mp3 folder present in card/mp3 to put all my songs after creatin subfolders acc to genre. SO is it essential to use the DISC2PHONE s/w to copy songs in w800 and then only the artist tabs will work or do i have to paste songs in card/mmsec/audio only????????????
P.S: Srry if i posted topic in wrong forum but this is the only newbie section i found.

Sounds like you have no tags there, mp3 tags are information as to the artist, album, track name etc.
I use this for downloaded albums.
http://www.mp3tag.de/en/
and this
http://cdexos.sourceforge.net/
For my original CDs as they both can create the tags so that they show up in the correct artist in the media player I have a k800i now but my D750i flashed to a w800i would do the same do you have a folder called unknown artist when you look in the walkman player?
Hope this helps.

No, you can simply drag and drop your files on the card. You must place your songs in E(or whatever drive your card is)/music. That's it.
