Hi i tryed to flash my w580i with XS 3.1 trying to get flash menus on my phone
It was "sucessfully" done.

i used frimware W580_R6BC002_MAIN_GENERIC_LA_RED52.mbn
and W580_R6BC002_FS_EUROPE_4_RED52.fbn

im from sweden so i it is the right firmwere

i neeed to recover my phone so i cant use it
now when i start it it just says " konfigure error contact your operator"

aaaah damn i will never try doing anything like this again :'(

i made a GDF (or whats it called) backup before flashed it, is it any helpfull?

plzzz if there are anyone out there who can help me plzz i beg you
or else i got to go and ly to my operator and that wont work

ok..u need to finalize ur phone..

first go to MY eSNIPS and download Europe_4 custom pack..

then go to Step by step instructions for flashing a phone using only XS++ there is a tutorial on how to customize ur phone..

Nothing went wrong its a common error that happens to w580i's. I had the same! Just upload the files from custompack, using the FSX tab in XS++, in the folder tpa/preset/custom you're really fine!

thx i got it !! the only thing is there are 3 custpack to choose from 13 12 and 122 or something :S (is the differense) witch one ?

The generic custompack for sweden is eruope 4, take HB1-06_Gen_CDA102568_13_R8A_GENERIC_EUROPE_4

I have a Sony Ericsson K550i and i have flashed the MAIN with: K550_R6BC002_MAIN_GENERIC_LI_RED52
and the FS with : K550_R6BC002_FS_EUROPE_4_RED52 and when i turn the mobile on, the same error that
"myphoneisdead" had show up. Configuration error. I have also flashed with : HB1-06_Gen_CDA102568_13_R8A_GENERIC_EUROPE_4 to finalize the mobile. But same error.
How shall i get it woking ?

Strange you have the cust pack but it doesnt works :S?
maby the finalize with the costompack was complete :S
well i have herd that you can also add a costompack with the "FSX" funktion in XS++
but it worked 4 me with the normal "flash" funktion

im not a pro so im sorry that i cant help you
but good luck to fix

Yes, i am from Sweden !

I have tried normal flashing and the Custom pack function in FSX in XS++. But how did you get it to work ?. Did you take the customize file system in the first window? or did you add a custom pack elsewhere ?

Hello again!

I solved it yesterday trough xs++. I made a directory in the XS++-directory which i named own_custpack. In that directory I pasted the tpa-directory which was included in the custom-pack that i downloaded. Then I opened XS++ and connected my phone and took the option to customize file system and took then the own custompack-option and hit flash and then the program finalized the phone.
