Hello all,

I have read in a few places that the new firmware revision, R8... is not as stable as the older R6BC002. Can anyone verify this? I have FS and MAIN for both FW revisions but not sure which one I should use.

I've also got both "Laura_i_CDA102774_20_R1A_Generic_Trade_USA" and "HB1-06_Gen_CDA102568_15_R8A_GENERIC_AMERICA_1" But I am not sure which one is best. I have been told it isn't important, but I still need a second opinion. Any thoughts?

r8 has an error that you are not able to seek forward videos that are longer than 1 hour.
Laura_i_CDA102774_20_R1A_Generic_Trade_USA has the internet and mms settings of american operators. HB1-06_Gen_CDA102568_15_R8A_GENERIC_AMERICA_1 hasnt this.

Any advantages to R8 that I should think about? I think I'll stick with R6 since I think it is more 'customizeable'... ;)


I am pretty sure I will use Laura for custpack...I mostly hear it is better anyways...
