Well you could try taking it back to the shop or to a service station for warranty repair but they will notice it has been under water and blame any faults on that.
There is a small tab inside with ink on which runs when wet so they can tell if the phone has been in water, unfortunately water damage is often used as a get out clause to evade warranty repairs by electronics manufacturers
Whaat? Ink? Where? For real.. that sounds pretty bad for my chances of just saying "I dont know what you are saying" when they as if its been in the water.
Yeah, I want to take it to the shop and make them fix the memorystick problem but the problem is that I ordered it off the web and that forces me to send them the phone, so they can send it to SE and that process is far from quick.
Do you think I should attempt to open the phone and try to "rehook" the spring if that is the problem?
