phone powers up but with a white screen any i dears?

I guess something is wrong :p
Try using the SE update site in reocvery mode :)
P990i, W950i, M600i, K800i, W850i, W900i, 6280, K750i+1GB, P900+64MB, S700i+128MB, So505iS+32MB, K700i, T610, Z700, T68m, T600, CAR-100, HBH-600, MPF-10, IBT-20, Premini II dummys :p Panasonic VS6! ....Nokia 6680!....

I would say that is more of a software/firmware issue than a hardware issue.

Reflashing the f/w would indeed be the first thing to try :)

Go to the SE site, find support and select K750i
You should see update service, choose that and when you get the chance try recovery mode. :)
