hi...i just noticed that my w580i's ringtone volume is kinda weird. i set it to ringtone volume 5...just a few days ago i used my house phone to call my cellphone to test the ringtone...the volume was very low even when it is set to volume 5. i think it began after i replaced the acoustic file...however the low ringtone volume problem never came up when some1 else is callin me...like my sister...but when i test it...why is my ringtone played in such low volume when i already set i to high? should i replace it wid da original acoustic files? if i have to i noticed dat my original w580i acoustic files contain around 75 files...but when i download da original files from dis website...it only contains 44...why is dat?

Hmm.. as far as i know... if a ringtone for one caller plays loud through the speaker, it should be loud for everyone since there's only a single acoustic file that is used to output for all callers.......Maybe you used different tones for you and others and maybe that file has a low volume...

Yes, the acoustics pack given in these sites are generic ie not for specific model... so you need to make some changes with respect to your model... for example normal phones dont have xxx_closed_xxx.zapf files but since 580 is a slider you need to take a file like fairfield_play, copy it in someother folder and rename it to fairfield_closed_play and then upload both the files into the phone. One will be used when the slider is open and the other when the slider is closed.

Did you delete all the existing files and then add the modded acoustic pack?? If yes then put the original acoustics back on and then replace only those that are present in the pack.

i only use one ringtone...the volume is so low that i have to put my phone rite next to my ears to hear the tone...and yes i deleted all original files first b4 replacing it...ill try puttin the originals bk in and then replace it from there...thxxx.
