My friend and I have been trying to resurrect a w810i.

We've tried flashing it over and over. Even using the sony update software. It crashes when we try to boot it about a third through the progress bar on the loading screen, under "Please Wait".

Any ideas? I would rather not have to buy a cruiser cable if possible.

use xs++ and far manager to flash your phone. if you already have, try to insert the log. or try to be more descriptive. what error message do you get?

I've reflashed it several times. Still freezes at start up. Locks up... no error message or anything.

My friend says if the GDFS is damaged that you cant just reflash it. I dont know if that's the case.
