I have search this forum and the internet the whole day. XS++ is great but i can't download the files using it. Some tools allow you to download the firmware from the internet and extract the files but i can't find K770i firmware anywhere.

What I want to do is edit the networklist file in tpa/preset/default. Because my operator's name takes up 2 lines on my main screen.

Platform: DB2020
OTP CID: 51
EROM CID: 52
EROM Color: Red
Phone ID: K770
Region: APAC
CDA: CDA102568/101 R8A
Firmware Version: R8BA024

Is there any software which lets you download the selcted file or the firmware?

this guide tells you how too copy it off ur phone then u just open it and edit it in notepad u need the layout.xml to remove the operator logo.

I just think I want to shorten the operator name as its 2 lines long. Not remove it totally. If you refer to this link the file has all the operator names.

I used the XML tool but its still 0 bytes and whatever i copy off using FAR is 0 bytes. Whats going on??

I need the K770i original firmware too. I uploaded T650i light effects to it but it didn't turn out to good. I tried SEUS but it didn't replace the original light effects file. So.... yeah i need the original firmware to reflash it.
